Experience a Summer of French Without Leaving the City
No need to travel to experience true French immersion this summer. Join the Alliance Française of Edmonton for a five-day Adult Summer French Camp designed to strengthen your language skills while enjoying the best of summer in the city.
This unique program blends structured French instruction with engaging cultural and outdoor activities. Each morning, you will develop your speaking, listening, and interaction skills in a supportive and dynamic classroom environment. In the afternoons, you will step outside to practice French in real-life situations through guided discussions, creative workshops, local outings, and cultural experiences around Edmonton.
More than just a course, this camp is a complete immersion experience. You will build confidence, expand your vocabulary naturally, and connect with other motivated learners, all in a relaxed, welcoming summer atmosphere.
Led by experienced instructors and supported by the Alliance Française team, the program offers a well-structured yet enjoyable environment that encourages active participation throughout the week.

Location: Edmonton, Alberta
Level groups: There will be two groups based on French proficiency: A2+/B1 and B2,
each limited to 10 participants.

Price information
The price includes:

French language instruction: 15 hours of collective
French classes over 5 days, led by a qualified French teacher.

Cultural activities: 2 to 3 hours per day of
supervised cultural activities designed to practice French in real-life situations.

Supervision and coordination: Continuous supervision by
two staff members, one French teacher and one cultural/activity coordinator from the Alliance Française administration.
- Program organization: Planning, coordination, and on-site management by the Alliance Française of Edmonton.
- Workshops and visits: Creative and culinary workshops, a museum workshop at the Royal Alberta Museum, and refreshments at Arno’s Bakery and Café Bicyclette.
- Welcome meal: A welcome lunch together at the Alliance Française on the first day.
The price does not include:
- Transportation to and from Edmonton, or local transportation during the program.
- Meals and snacks, except for the welcome lunch.
- Personal expenses.
- Personal insurance.

- The program requires a minimum of ten participants to run. In the unlikely event of cancellation, a full refund will be issued.
