As Halloween approaches, children will step into a world filled with ghosts, monsters, and imaginary creatures. They’ll create their own
characters, make spooky accessories, and solve mysteries together. Through stories, games, and challenges, they’ll use French to describe,
ask questions, and share their adventures. A day full of mystery, where they can get just the right amount of scared!
Why do we hide a little charm inside a galette des rois? And why do we make crêpes for Candlemas?
Children will discover these two French traditions through stories, games, and a hands-on cooking workshop. They’ll also make their own crowns while learning to name ingredients, follow instructions, and express their likes and dislikes in French. A fun day to share between little kings, queens, and young chefs!
For this first day, children will explore the world of Easter and spring through stories, songs, games, and creative activities. They’ll
make their own decorations and take part in fun challenges about colours, animals, and Easter traditions. Along the way, they’ll have plenty
of opportunities to follow instructions, name what they see, and interact in French.
A new adventure awaits children, whether or not they joined us on Thursday. To find a hidden treasure, they’ll follow clues in French, solve
riddles, and take on team challenges. Between each step of their investigation, they’ll enjoy games and a creative workshop. A fun day
designed to get young detectives talking, observing, and working together in French.
Children will discover the world behind the scenes of filmmaking by creating their own story. Who will the characters be? Where will the story take place? After coming up with a simple script, they’ll act out short scenes and design a poster for their film. Through role-play and creative activities, they’ll practice telling stories, describing scenes, and expressing their ideas in French, both in front of and behind the imaginary camera.
To celebrate the Fête de la Musique, children will discover French-language songs, explore different rhythms, and play with sounds and words. They’ll take part in musical games and create something together, using French to listen, share ideas, and invent as a group. We’ll also highlight the work of an Indigenous artist, as June 21 is also National Indigenous Peoples Day.
