baking workshop on Saturday, October 11,
guided by our experienced chef...
en Français of course!
Tarte Tatin is a timeless classic of French cuisine: a rustic yet elegant caramelized apple tart. In this hands-on workshop, you will learn the secrets behind creating this iconic French dessert!
Our instructor, Amara
Yamamoto-Smith,
a certified pastry chef from Le Cordon Bleu in Paris, loves to share her expertise and passion for French pastry.
Whether you are a beginner or an experienced cook, our workshops are accessible to all. The cooking workshops will be done in small groups and will be given in French, allowing you to practice with the chef and other participants.
We provide all necessary ingredients and guide you step by step
in preparing this dessert. .
And the best part: taste and take home your creations (don’t forget your container!).

en France ! Pour marquer ce temps fort culinaire, nous organisons un atelier
pâtisserie Tarte Tatin
le samedi 11 octobre, guidé
par notre cheffe expérimentée... en français bien sûr !
La Tarte Tatin, classique intemporel de la cuisine française, est une délicieuse tarte aux pommes caramélisées, à la fois rustique et élégante. Lors de cet atelier pratique, vous apprendrez tous les secrets de ce dessert emblématique !
Notre cheffe, Amara Yamamoto-Smith, diplômée du Cordon Bleu à Paris, partage avec passion son savoir-faire en pâtisserie française.
Que vous soyez débutant(e) ou confirmé(e), l’atelier est accessible à tous. Les petits groupes
permettent un accompagnement personnalisé, et la session se déroulera en
français, pour pratiquer avec la cheffe et les
autres participants.
Tous les ingrédients sont fournis et vous serez guidé(e) pas à pas. Le meilleur pour la fin : dégustez et repartez avec vos créations (n’oubliez pas votre contenant !).

- La cuisine se situe au 2ème étage de la Bibliothèque Stanley A. Milner.
- Les enfants de 12 à 18 ans peuvent participer avec un parent ou un tuteur.
- Les portes seront fermées 10 minutes après l'heure de début pour minimiser les interruptions.
- Pour réduire le gaspillage, merci d’apporter un contenant pour emporter vos restes.
