In Paimpont, harmony reigns: among the locals, there’s Joëlle—the schoolteacher with a knack for giving lessons, Anne—the convenience store
owner who loves her aperitifs, Hervé—the Alsatian plumber who’s more Breton than the Bretons themselves, and Johnny—the local constable
who’s a fan of… Johnny. In a great show of solidarity, they enthusiastically agree to welcome Ukrainian refugees. Except, the refugees who
arrive aren’t Ukrainian… they’re Syrian! And in this charming little Breton village, some aren’t exactly thrilled about their new neighbors.
So in the end, who are the real barbarians?

A Paimpont, l’harmonie règne : parmi les habitants, il y a Joëlle - l’institutrice donneuse de leçons, Anne – la propriétaire de la supérette portée sur l’apéro, Hervé – le plombier alsacien plus breton que les Bretons, ou encore Johnny – le garde-champêtre fan de… Johnny. Dans un grand élan de solidarité, ils acceptent avec enthousiasme de voter l’accueil de réfugiés ukrainiens. Sauf que les réfugiés qui débarquent ne sont pas ukrainiens… mais syriens ! Et certains, dans ce charmant petit village breton, ne voient pas l’arrivée de leurs nouveaux voisins d’un très bon œil. Alors, au bout du compte, c’est qui les barbares ?
