This language immersion program is designed for a wide range of learners. Whether you're aiming to improve your French from A2 to
B2 level or progressing through levels 4 to 7 on the Canadian Language Benchmarks (CLB), this program offers the structure and support
you need. It is also perfect for travelers eager to immerse themselves in both the language and culture, newcomers who want to discover Montréal while joining a vibrant and welcoming community, and international students looking to build
connections and advance their French in an engaging environment.
What does a typical day look like in this immersive summer program in Montréal?
Morning apprenticeship
(1 week = 1 thematic)
- Join dynamic morning sessions from Monday to Friday (9 a.m. to 12 p.m.) led by experienced, certified teachers.
- Accelerate your progress through interactive, collaborative classes focused on speaking and listening skills.
- Each afternoon, dive into a new weekly theme through cultural activities that bring Montréal to life.
- Sharpen your French with level-appropriate materials (A2/B1 or B2) inspired by the rich culture of Montréal and Québec.

Afternoon of cultural exploration
(Visit iconic venues every afternoon)
- Spend two hours exploring Montréal through visits tied to the morning’s theme, using your French in real-life situations as you discover the city.
- Experience the energy and charm of Montréal’s vibrant summer life while connecting with a lively and welcoming community.
- Activities include museum visits, iconic monument tours, and interactive explorations

Price information
The weekly price is $594 (a 10% discount is applied for students of the Alliance Française of Edmonton).
The price includes:
- A language immersion program, in person and in a small group;

5 days a week (25h total):
- 3-hour session of French;
- 2-hour cultural explorations;

French class sessions led by a certified teacher.
The price does not include:
- Your airfare and transportation to, from, and within Montréal;
- Meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner);
- Personal expenses;
- Personal insurance;
